Thank you for taking a few minutes to scroll around and check out my heart work, kind of like artwork but it literally has my heart and soul attached to it. I want to tell you that what is posted here will look and feel similar from one post to the next, but that’s not the case because it’s just not how my brain or creativity works. What I do plan to do however is leave you visually and mentally inspired. If I shoot with you I hope you feel as beautiful or as handsome as I see you, and no I will not photoshop you to look like someone you are not. My whole mission is to showcase the natural beauty that lives and breathes around us in my gorgeous state of California and beyond. When working with people I try to make the shoot as relaxed as possible, I am patient, fun-loving, and slightly awkward but it’s part of my charm and you will learn to love it.
Photography has been a part of my life for more than 20 years more as a hobby than anything else but recently paths have opened and I have begun a fun little side business. I like to think of myself as a visual storyteller, a life preservationist, and an adventure-seeking wanderer that just likes to capture what is right in front of her. Music and words move me so you will also get a healthy dose of both in my blog posts. I am a nonprofit worker that has a deep love and commitment to what I do daily for our local food bank. I am a wife. A mother of two beautiful girls, body positivity is huge to me. I also have two goofy but loveable dogs that act like the sons I have never had. I am also a Lovie (cute nickname for a young grandma) to the most adorable, sassy, hilarious little loves two girls, and a little guy. Life is busy but it’s never too busy to slow down and enjoy what is around us. Remember life is precious make sure to put yourself in the photos before it is too late.
